RANDY GOODRUM CONTINUES THE RED EYE JOURNEY WITH THE RELEASE OF “FROM HERE” LYRIC VIDEO

New Video For "From Here" - Created & Conceived By Goodrum - Features Original Photographs By Jay McDonald

April 9, 2021 — Randy Goodrum, has once again added video creator to his list of artistic distinctions with the release of the official lyric video for “From Here,” a track from his current solo album, Red Eye. The Hall of Fame songwriter/recording artist/musician/producer, who co-wrote the song with Douglas Carr, powerfully punctuates the lyric video with luxe, inspiring photographic images created by fellow Arkansan, Jay McDonald.

“From Here,” emanates from Goodrum’s long-awaited Red Eye. The album was released in the midst of the Covid pandemic on the artist’s own Clark St. Records and has been embraced by audiences around the world. The track is written in the songwriter’s signature style where every word is essential to the story, here matched with entrancing images to further compel.

“Jay McDonald is a world class photographer who I’m lucky to call a close friend,” says Goodrum. “Jay travels all over the world with his camera and is constantly capturing so many dramatic and strikingly beautiful images. I am honored to have used his work for the visual part of the video.”

He continues, “‘From Here' is a song I wrote with my good friend and colleague, Douglas Carr. Even though Red Eye is mostly songs I wrote by myself or co-wrote with my co-producer, Larry Williams, Larry insisted on including “From Here” to the project. He and I consider it a major core song in the makeup of the album.”
