THE MANY VERSIONS OF THE "LOOKING BACK ON THE HOLIDAYS SONG

I always wanted to write a Christmas/Holiday song that would be recorded by several people and widely played during the Holiday Season. I got my wish by writing a song with John Jarvis titled, “Til The Season Comes ‘Round Again.”

We tried to write a premise that hadn’t been done before. Most Holiday songs anticipate the various aspects of the coming of Christmas, Holiday events, etc. We decided to write about the last moment of the Season. A celebration of all that just happened and a wish for good will “Til The Season Comes ‘Round Again.

We were fortunate to have several artists record the song and one of my favorites is by Amy Grant.

In his typically humble way, Randy Goodrum certainly got his wish with the holiday classic, “Til The Season Comes ‘Round Again.” The track was recorded by Amy Grant for her 1999 “A Christmas To Remember” album with the Patrick Williams Orchestra on the Gold certified album.
