JaR Scene 29, Episode 1-10

JARZone

A few years ago I got together with Jay Graydon, my writing partner on songs like “Who’s Holding Donna Now” and “Lost Without Her Love” for El DeBarge, “Pleasure Over Pain” for Al Jarreau, “Haunting Me” for Dave Grusin and many others to record our own record, SCENE 29.

As a recording duo, we go by the band name, JaR and will release our second album in the new year. We taped a series of video interviews during the recording of SCENE 29 and decided to release some of the outtakes as “get to know us” clips. These episodes are up online for anyone wondering about the story of JaR and to provide a deeper dive into the songs and the making of the record.

The Story of JaR - We are now starting a new series of brief videos with the story of the band JaR - Jay Graydon and Randy Goodrum - www.jarzone.com The album is available for purchase, both as a physical CD as well as in various download versions, including single tracks at ... CD Baby

Ran and I thought it would be fun and informative to do a video series as to how JaR came about, along with details as to the creation and recording of most of the songs. There will be a new episode posted every now and then, starting with the Scene 29 album. We have already videoed the episodes for the next JaR album as well, and will post those later on, when that CD is ready for release. - Jay Graydon - www.jaygraydon.com
