The Power of Music Benefit in Bentonville, AR.

While he may be best known as a #HallofFame #songwriter, Randy Goodrum also has a long list of credits & kudos as a world-class musician & performer. Northwest Arkansas Travel Guide was “in the room where it happened” at Haxton Road Studios in Bentonville, AR as Randy performed “BLUER THAN BLUE,” the song he wrote for Michael Johnson (also recorded by Barry Manilow) after weaving through the writing process before an intimate hometown audience at “The Power of Music” benefit for music education. In November I performed at the Cotton Club


with BruceRandy @ Cotton Club in Nov 2013 Gaitsch (guitar), Janey Clewer (artist/vocals/keyboards), George Hawkins (bass), Billy Ward (drums), and Dave Innis (keyboards).

It was unforgettable. The crowds were great and the club was Class A.

LOKKO Concert

I just got back from a great writing/performing trip to Sweden.


I did a concert with Lars Söderberg and Jonathan Westling under the artist/band name, LOKKO. Lars and I formed LOKKO earlier this year and this is our first live performance as the band. We appeared at the New Directions Festival in Luleå, Sweden. Later in the trip I went to Stockholm for a few days and wrote with some amazing writers. More on that later. I just got back from participating in ASCAP EXPO in Los Angeles. I performed with fellow songwriters, Jon Lind, Gretchen Peters, and Judy Collins. It was an unforgettable, moving experience for me to hear the magical performances of the other writers. I did my best to add to the atmosphere with my renditions.
